Great little collection of 3 Art Deco Myott Pinch Neck Jugs in various colourways and sizes. Ideal to either start a Myott collection or extend one. Collecting the Pinch Necks is a more affordable way to collect MYott Art Deco artwares. Pich Neck Jugs generally come in 3 sizes, so you can collect each colourway in each size – they look great displayed this way.
Left: Medium size Pinch Jug standing 188mm (7.4 inches) tall with pattern number H8389. Full gold Myott mark, painters marks and batch size ‘30’ impressed. Pattern consists of bands of green, yellow, orange and also blue which is a rare colour in the world of Myott. Excellent condition.
Middle: Medium size geometric design Pinch Neck Jug standing 190mm (7.5inches) tall with pattern number 8301. Full gold Myott mark, painters marks and batch size ‘30’ impressed and ‘Made in England’ in russet. Pattern is a strong geometric design of areas of brown, orange, green and blue. Excellent condition, but with a star hairline to the base, which just seems to affect the glaze and doesn’t go right through to the inside. This is shown in the bottom image.
Right: Small size Myott Pinch Neck Jug standing 166mm (6.5 inches) tall with pattern number 8315. Full gold Myott mark, painters mark and batch size ‘36’ impressed and ‘Made in England’ in russet. Nice bright esign in orange and yellow with contrasting brown bands and motif. Excellent condition. There is a small blob of orange paint on the yellow area which was obviously done in production.
