Stunning and rare Liquorice Myott Art Deco Fan vase 8949

A stunning rare Myott Art Deco Fan Vase in what has become known as the ‘Liquorice’ pattern due to the thin liquorice-like black lines running vertically from the top of the vase to the ‘hub’. Great pastel colours of green, mauve, pink and yellow with a black base and stylised pink flowers to the ‘hub’. You don’t see these fan vases come up that often.

The fan vase stands 21.6cm (8.5 inches) tall and 16.5cm (6.5 inches) wide, and is marked with the full Myott gold crown with MADE IN ENGLAND in a russet colour. Pattern number 8949 is hand lettered by the paintress.

The vase is in good condition with just a few rubs to the black lines. There is overall clean crazing to the vase.

I would like to swap this vase for either other Myott or even Ashtead Pottery.
