Myott Art Deco Basket Weave Onion Vase HW518

This Myott Art Deco Basket Weave Onion Vase stands 20cm (8 inches) tall by 17.5 cm (6.9 inches) at its widest point. The design is oriental based with foliage and yellow blossom in relief against a brown basket weave effect. The vase is termed ‘onion’ due to the shape of the vase resembling that of an onion.

The Onion Vase is marked fully to the base with the gold Myott crown, HAND PAINTED and MADE IN ENGLAND in russet. There is a pattern number of HW518 and also an incised batch number ‘41’ with a small incised ‘s’. There is also an incised painter’s mark of ‘AO’. The Onion vase is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks or restoration and there is also no crazing at all.
